In what was the strongest sale to date, the Michael Lane Racing team walked away with four quality yearlings.
Day 1 of the sale saw the team bring home two lovely fillies. The first being a Santos filly out a 5 time winning half sister to G2 Karrakatta Plate winner Ima Single Man who looks a nice early running type. The second filly is by Shamus Award with a dam line saturated with Group 1 winners. Michael paid up for the Shamus Award filly going all the way to $135,000.
Day 2 saw Michael pick up another two yearlings. Early in the day he secured a bargain buy in a Maschino gelding who looks an athletic middle distance type. Towards the end of the sale a cracking Playing God colt from Willaview Park was too good to resist and the hammer cracked down at $90k.
The team couldn't be happier with the purchases and has hopes for the future.
