Recent stable acquisition Cerridwyn makes it 2/2 since arriving at the stables after taking out the Furphy Bunbury Cup at Ascot 11th March Handicap (1300m) on Wednesday by 1.3L in dominant fashion.
Brad Rawiller had settled the mare back in the field from the wide gate before unleashing with a turn of foot down the middle and finishing over the top of her rivals. She recorded the equal quickest last 600m of the race alongside stablemate Awesome Rival who finished 2L back in 4th.
The mare looks bound for Saturday class now after two impressive wins for the stable while Awesome Rival shouldn't find himself in Class 1 grade for too long.
